Upcycled Correx Lampshades
Tabitha Bargh's 'Poly' Collection is Made with Used Real Estate Signage
Jana Pijak — March 28, 2024Brighton-based designer Tabitha Bargh, renowned for her innovative approach to sustainability, recently unveiled the 'Poly' collection, a range of contemporary lampshades crafted from used real estate agent advertising boards. Made from Correx, a typically non-biodegradable material, Bargh's designs showcase the transformative power of upcycling.
The Poly collection features five unique designs, each meticulously crafted in Bargh's Brighton studio. From cones and cylinders to drum shapes, these lampshades come in a variety of sizes. The products are suitable for ceiling, table, and floor lamps and are made through small batch manufacturing practices. Because of this, each Tabitha Bargh piece is offered in limited quantities to reflect the designer's commitment to sustainability.
Priced from £85, the Poly collection is now available for purchase at tabithabargh.co.uk.
