Upcycled Organizational Storage
Arup's 'GOLDBORNE' Range Was Made from Repurposed Milk Bottles
Ellen Smith — October 19, 2017Engineering firm Arup's newest collection, the 'GOLDBORNE' range was created to coincide with London's Festival of Design, producing a diverse collection of products that are made from entirely recycled materials.
The collection consists of small items, which are ideal for small but contemporary homes, offices and desk spaces. Largely comprised of fashionable storage units, these products aim to appease both the environmental and organizational needs of a consumer. The 'Desk Tidy' lids are available in two sizes and were crafted with repurposed waste from milk bottles and timber. The same materials were used in the creation of the brand's food safe storage containers, which boast a warm and contemporary vibe.
The result of this ambitious waste reduction project aimed to demonstrate the beauty and functionality that can come from environmental design.
