We know the problem

Designers Guy Snover and Daniel Martinez join forces to continue to shine a spotlight on untapped resources working under their Montreal-based design studio Cyrc. It is a playful blend of the words 'recycle' and 'circular.'Martinez explains, “We’re trying to bring that notion of what a circular economy is into people’s houses, into their conversations. We sometimes saw we’re making that economic model the centerpiece."

Food packaging was a main focus, taking it as raw materials and transforming it through 3D printing methods creating sculptural objects. The new designs are optioned in nine colors across the five collections -- all of these are made from post-industrial plastics. Notably, when Cyrc products reach their end of life, the company takes them back, breaks them down and prepares them for new life.
