Enkei Introduces the Sustainable Reminder (001) Lamp
Amy Duong — February 6, 2024References: yankodesign & enkei.world
Swedish design company Enkei presents a look at its Reminder (001) Lamp. The company itself can be described as a circular startup with its strong sustainable efforts in thinking of new ways to manufacture products. The Reminder (001) Lamp is aesthetically pleasing and supported by eco-friendly elements as it is crafted mostly from repurposed waste.
The textile shade is moveable and made from a series of repurposed materials such as scrap-based wire, high-end fashion deadstock, bio-plastic waste, and 3D-print fossil-free steel. The lamps are comprised of two shapes that nestle into one another like a puzzle. It is made with space grey and white hues for a versatile theme and appears like any other piece of art decor.
