For his final project, Harry Jones launches a sustainable upcycled accessory collection. From flip-flops and placemats to satchels and cardholders, the aesthetic of the pieces nods to the sensibilities of contemporary streetwear. Yet, what is really special about the capsule is the material that Jones used.

The emerging designer is a student of the Northumbria University in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Focusing on sustainability — and it seems most graduating individuals are, Harry manages to reuse the life jackets that were "left on European beaches during the refugee crisis."

The upcycled accessory collection has been playfully entitled 'Ghostly Ocean Debris.' Each silhouette boasts a chic, deconstructed aesthetic that makes it quite unique and edgy. Moreover, Jones left hardware pieces such as the life jacket pull strings as complementary design elements.
