Circularity-Centric Fashion Platforms

World-renowned Italian luxury fashion brand Gucci has launched an innovative fashion platform that is designed to foster greater circularity and bring the brand in closer alignment with the European Union's carbon reduction aims.

The aptly named 'Circular Hub,' which is located in Tuscany, will function as an open fashion platform that will undertake a number of ventures that range from the promotion of logistical support to crafting of industry partnerships and the conducting of scientific research and development. By touching different parts of the fashion industry in this manner, this fashion platform hopes to curb the deleterious impacts of manufacturing and supply chain operations on the climate.

The sizeable investment of resources that Gucci is making in 'Circular Hub' ultimately speaks to the growing embrace of sustainability across the supply and value chain of luxury fashion labels.
