Fashion retailer Madewell has teamed up with the fashion resale site thredUP to launch 'A Circular Store,' a pop-up retail location focused on re-commerce education and recycled clothing.

The store features relevant information about fashion waste and provides shoppers with detailed steps to build a circular wardrobe themselves. Stations throughout the space present QR codes that offer a deep dive into how to buy, wear, and pass on clothing. In addition, the store will present educational programming with local designers and major eco-friendly brands, like Patagonia, covering topics such as upcycling and clothing repair.

Back in July, Madewell committed to using thredUP's resale-as-a-service platform for certain denim items. With 'A Circular Store,' we see the two brands further building upon this relationship by providing shoppers with free educational tools regarding the power of sustainable fashion.
