In Vancouver, The Body Shop launched a new body care store concept that’s described as an “activist workshop” and functions as a place for people to discover and recycle products, as well as learn other ways they can make a positive impact. The shop boasts multiple refill stations, including ones for shower gels and water bottles, and fixtures made with reclaimed wood and recycled plastics.

Within the concept shop, there’s an “activism corner” where shoppers are encouraged to learn about the brand’s passion for inciting change.

As Hilary Lloyd, VP of Marketing and Corporate Responsibility at The Body Shop, puts it, "The new Vancouver concept store marks the return to our activism roots. We want our customers to roll up their sleeves and join us in playing with product, recycling, refilling and campaigning for issues that progress equality."
