LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, a vertically integrated, privately-owned beauty company, is making a commitment to embed sustainability and regeneration initiatives throughout its value chain. The company recognizes its opportunity and responsibility to invent and bring to market products that support its customers in finding zero-waste bathroom routines. To achieve this goal, LUSH has developed naked products that are free from packaging. Currently, 66% of its product range is naked, including top-selling products like shampoo bars, bubble bars, massage bars, and toothy tabs.

LUSH also focuses on self-preserving products that stay fresh, effective, and safe to use without the use of artificial preservatives, which can accumulate in water systems and damage aquatic life forms. Currently, 90% of LUSH's product range is self-preserving, including newly launched self-preserving moisturizers.

LUSH is powered by 100% renewable energy and purchases renewable electricity and renewable natural gas to cover 100% of the energy consumption of its retail shops, manufacturing buildings, and distribution centers. The company also engages with suppliers to reduce its carbon footprint and improve soil health, irrigation practices, pesticide use, and source of energy for production.
