ALDI UK has announced a new range of upgrades being made to its various retail locations that will help to prioritize the brand's commitment to going net zero in the years ahead. The upgrades include improving efficiencies and working with Vaillant to shift towards more sustainable solutions like aroTHERM plus air source heat pump technology and more. The upgrades will see the company upgrading all of its locations with between two and five heat pumps, according to requirements.

National Real Estate Director for ALDI UK Richard Conway commented on the store upgrades saying, "Aldi is a forward-thinking supermarket business, and we continue to look at ways to improve efficiencies, whilst being mindful of our important sustainability targets. This means continuing to examine how we can reduce our environmental impact across our activities."
