A new partnership between ASDA, Avery Berkel and Hanshow is helping to promote refillable, low-waste shopping solutions for supermarkets in the UK. With leading electronic shelf labels (ESLs) and digital retail solutions, the experience of shopping is being improved for shoppers who want to reduce their impact on the environment. This technology makes it possible for changes to prices and promotions to be made in real-time, and customers can easily see the differences in price between packaged and unwrapped products. The integration of ESLs also allows for the integration of custom fonts, images, logos and graphics on labels.

Along with offering a bring-your-own-container solution, ASDA is promoting a Refill Price Promise program, which guarantees lower prices to help customers shop more sustainably.
