Redefined Electric Vehicles

SWITCH Mobility has introduced the 'SWITCH IeV8,' an "electric light commercial vehicle (eLCV) in the 7.2-ton category, designed to promote sustainability in mid-mile logistics." By replacing traditional fuel-based transport with an advanced electric alternative, the IeV8 supports efforts to reduce carbon emissions and enhance energy efficiency in India’s logistics sector.

A key sustainability feature of the SWITCH IeV8 is its lithium battery system, which enables a driving range of up to 250 km on a single charge. Additionally, its "fast-charging capability minimizes downtime, ensuring a more energy-efficient operation while its cargo capacity of up to 830 cubic feet, the vehicle optimizes space utilization, further contributing to resource efficiency."

To complement its environmental benefits, the SWITCH IeV8 includes Electro-Hydraulic Power Steering (EHPS), an air-conditioned cabin, and ergonomic seating, prioritizing both driver comfort and sustainable innovation in logistics.
