Redesigned EV Applications
Star8 Corp's TOMAHAWK SRL Aims to Patent its 'Tomahawk DualTech'
Debra John — January 16, 2025The 'Tomahawk DualTech' system, a new power management technology developed by TOMAHAWK SRL, has been submitted for patent approval. TOMAHAWK SRL, an Italian electric motorcycle company under the Scarponi Motorcycles brand and a subsidiary of Star8 Corp, created this system to improve efficiency and sustainability in electric vehicles (EVs), industrial machines, and energy systems.
The system uses a dual three-pole power setup with positive, zero, and negative poles to reduce energy loss and improve voltage stability. Additionally, its "control unit works with existing systems, such as Field-Oriented Control (FOC) and V/f, while allowing for future upgrades." As such, it is designed for demanding industrial use, which helps save energy and boost performance. By increasing EV range, cutting down heat waste, and improving motor efficiency, Tomahawk DualTech supports better energy use and lower emissions.
