Swiftland MT is the first multi-terrain trail shoe by REI Co-op that's made with recycled and bio-based materials. This footwear design for outdoor lovers and environmentally minded consumers offers a sustainable design without compromising the style's technical features.
This foundational footwear style speaks to the varied needs of the REI Co-op customers. As Fan Zhou, REI general manager for run and footwear says, "More than half of our customers who are hikers or campers are also runners." This style in particular has the potential to support customers' journeys beyond the pavement, all the while helping them to feel good about the impact of their purchasing decisions on the planet.
The Swiftland MT trail running shoe features a 90% recycled PET FirmaKnit RUN upper, a 10% Bloom Algae TerraLoft RUN compound in midsole and a 20% recycled rubber TerraGrip™ RUN outsole.
