There is an astonishing amount of plastic waste that enters the ocean every year, and to combat this, products like New Movements' sneakers are entering the market to clean up our waterways and produce high-quality sneakers.

The line focuses on a circular Scandinavian design that's both minimalistic and functional. The sneakers boast a streamlined silhouette thats both versatile and sophisticated. Moreover, the footwear boasts recycled and natural rubber and recycled plastic bottles. The New Movements sneakers are available in multiple styles for both men and women and can be pre-ordered online through Kickstarter.

For each pair of shoes sold, New Movements will donate to an Ocean Clean-UP, an organization dedicated to reducing the amount of plastic in the oceans, to remove the equivalent of 2.54 kg from the ocean.
