On's innovative Cyclon program is redefining sustainability in the running gear industry by introducing a circularity initiative that focuses on high-performance, recyclable products. The program operates under a simple yet impactful premise: "Run. Recycle. Repeat." It allows consumers to use their products and return them once worn out, after which On recycles them into new shoe parts. This approach not only promotes environmental responsibility but also ensures continuous product quality and evolution.

The Cloudneo, a standout offering within the program, combines speed with sustainability. Designed with an extreme rocker silhouette inspired by elite racing shoes, it is constructed from over 90% recyclable materials and more than 50% bio-based substances, including a Speedboard® made from 90% bio-based material. The unique Twin CloudTec® provides effective protection and responsiveness for road running. Additionally, Cloudneo is available through a monthly subscription, encouraging users to return their worn-out pairs for recycling and receive a new one, thus supporting continuous environmental stewardship.

Similarly, the Cyclon-T expands the Cyclon collection into apparel, featuring a design primarily from bio-based, sweat-wicking fabric derived from castor beans. This shirt emphasizes the program’s lifecycle approach—once it's worn down, it can be sent back to On, where it is recycled into new shoe components, illustrating a practical application of sustainable practices in sportswear.
