Repurposed Grape Sneakers

The Eco Edition Larry Sneaker is a Mr Porter exclusive and it's an updated version of the brand's best-selling Larry sneaker that features an innovative and sustainable leather alternative. The eco-friendly version of this pristine sneaker launched under the Mr. P brand is made from VEGEA, which is "an Italian biomaterial made from repurposed grape skin, stalks and seeds that are a byproduct of wine production."

The sneakers are completed with Margom rubber soles that are made from 30% recycled materials, breathable onSteam microfibre lining and organic cotton laces.

Like Mr Porter, many footwear brands are updating some of their most popular styles so that they can be enjoyed with more sustainable materials, more conscious resource use and less waste.
