The Supplant Company is showing off its newest ingredient, Supplant Grain & Stalk Flour, in its newest release, a limited batch of Supplant Pasta. This pasta product is made from a blend of flour that puts the stalk of the wheat plant to good use since it's ordinarily an ingredient that goes to waste. According to the brand, this pasta is lower in calories and higher in fiber than regular pasta.
Consumer demand for sustainable products made with upcycled ingredients and by-products is on the rise. This is because consumers are becoming more aware of the environmental impact of waste and are looking for ways to reduce their personal and household contributions.
