Caitlyn Fernandez — January 18, 2022Restore Foodware’s ‘AirCarbon Cocktail Straws’ will soon be available for purchase. The cocktail straws are made with AirCarbon, also known as PHB, a naturally made biomaterial. As mentioned on its website, the brand uses “renewable power and naturally-occurring microorganisms from the ocean in a large saltwater tank to produce AirCarbon,” which can then be melted down “into strong high-performance shapes, like straws or forks.”
The brand also offers consumers ’AirCarbon Jumbo Straws’ and ‘AirCarbon Premium Cutlery’ as plastic-free and reusable substitutes to one-use synthetic plastic foodware. Restore Foodware’s products are plastic-free, reusable, dishwasher safe, compostable, and can handle hot and cold food and beverages. Consumers can purchase the carbon-negative AirCarbon foodware products on the Restore Foodware website.
