Barilla & Marie Kondo are Sharing How to Reuse Packaging
Laura McQuarrie — March 18, 2024References: adweek &
Organizational expert Marie Kondo teamed up with pasta brand Barilla to share a special product for Global Recycling Day, teaching people how to reuse packaging. The Barilla Secondhand Box is presented as a way to pack pre-loved items and ship them in an environmentally friendly way using folding techniques from Kondo.
Boxes of all shapes and sizes from Barilla can be used to ship pre-loved clothing items, and as the team points out, small items like socks perfectly fit in Barilla's spaghetti box and medium items are nicely accommodated in the same boxes that share rigatoni pasta. Even large items such as shirts can be accommodated with this method of creatively repurposing pasta packaging.
