Rialti Unveils a Polypropylene Compound Using Recycled Content

Italian polypropylene brand Rialti is officially launching new polypropylene compounds that use recycled content for structural applications at PRSE. The latest materials are expected to help advance End-of-Life Vehicle (ELV) targets in addition to the construction, appliances, home, and gardening industries. The new hybrid PCR/PIR grades also work seamlessly with Borealis' Borcycle M portfolio, demonstrating how both companies can utilize their synergy to advance sustainable operations in multiple ways and in multiple areas.

“[...] Rialti’s new grades are a perfect example—containing both post-consumer and post-industrial recycled content while maintaining key mechanical properties, they provide a practical solution for manufacturers in cost-sensitive industries seeking sustainable alternatives to virgin materials," said Shanila Baseley, Borealis vice president mobility and advanced products.
