Polyplastics has launched PLASTRON LFT RA627P, a sustainable blend of polypropylene (PP) resin and long cellulose fiber ideal for audio and industrial component manufacturing. Boasting high regenerated cellulose fiber content, PLASTRON LFT RA627P offers a reduced carbon footprint and high strength and elasticity. This long-fiber thermoplastic (LFT) is made by blending polypropylene (PP) resin with long cellulose fibers, all lined up in the same direction. These plant-based fibers are specially processed to improve their strength and flexibility.

PLASTRON RA627P, this material is about 10% lighter than traditional plastics reinforced with short glass fibers. Despite being lighter, it maintains similar stiffness and offers even better rigidity, making it an excellent option for industries looking for strong yet lightweight materials.
