Recycled Polystyrene Products

Trinseo introduces Europe's first transparent dissolution recycled polystyrene (rPS) product, which was developed for direct food contact applications. Following extensive testing to confirm its safety, the company has approved its use in various food-related products, including dairy containers, cups for hot and cold beverages, food trays, and refrigerator components. Committed to maintaining high standards and consumer safety, Trinseo continuously monitors the quality of its rPS resin to ensure ongoing compliance with EU Regulation 2022/1616.
