These Novolex Recyclable Food Containers Have 10% Recycled Plastic

These Novolex recyclable food containers have been introduced by the packaging provider as a solution that incorporates recycled materials, while also keeping product end of life in the spotlight. The packaging comes in a variety of size options including tamper-evident containers, dessert cups, bakery clamshells and cake containers, which all feature at least 10% post-consumer recycled content. The food-safe packaging prioritizes an overall recycling theme, while still keeping functionality in the spotlight to not affect how it can be used in the industry.
Director of Technology for Rigid Plastics Stephen Kapantais spoke on the Novolex recyclable food containers saying, "We are proud to add to our growing number of products manufactured with recycled content. Sustainability is critical to the future of our industry, and we are committed to creating even more innovative products to reduce our impact on the environment and support the circular economy."
