Brazil’s Cerrado region is embracing digital carbon farming over 40,000 hectares to combine agriculture with climate-friendly practices. The 'MyEasyCarbon program' focuses on capturing carbon dioxide in soil and plants, helping reduce greenhouse gases while keeping farms productive.

The Cerrado, "a large tropical savanna, has lost much of its natural vegetation to farming as this project aims to restore degraded land using proven carbon farming techniques." It builds on the success of France’s 'Low Carbon Label' program, which showed how farms can store carbon and reduce emissions.

Using tools like satellite images and soil sensors, the program measures "carbon storage, biodiversity, and water management." It follows global standards to certify carbon credits, giving farmers financial rewards for sustainable practices. This approach improves soil health, supports wildlife, and helps farms adapt to climate challenges, offering a model for sustainable farming worldwide.
