Farmer-owned cooperative, Growmark has announced its partnership with Carbon by Indigo to offer farmers easier access to carbon trading markets.

Farmers will enroll in Carbon by Indigo, a company that will help farmers implement new practices that sequesters carbon into the soil and reduces carbon in the atmosphere. In addition, the platform will measure and verify the positive outcomes of these newly implemented sustainable farming practices and then turn them into carbon credits.

Carbon farming is a growing industry, and this new service is designed to help farmers explore this new farming landscape. This new venture aligns with Growmark's Endure sustainability initiative - which supports climate-positive agricultural practices. In addition, the company hopes to further its eco-agriculture initiatives through education and help farmers understand the intricacies of the carbon credit market.
