Coast 4C is pioneering regenerative seaweed farming to address environmental and social challenges in coastal communities. By partnering with smallholder seaweed farmers, Coast 4C helps transition traditional farming practices to regenerative methods, which improve yields, enhance seaweed quality, and promote sustainable livelihoods. The organization's GROW program provides farmers with farm input packages, advanced technologies, and financial support, resulting in up to a fourfold increase in yield and a significant improvement in seaweed quality. This approach not only boosts production but also helps protect marine ecosystems and reduce environmental harm.

In addition to improving farming practices, Coast 4C integrates community-based marine protected areas (iMPAs) to enhance coastal protection and revive marine habitats. These protected areas help safeguard marine biodiversity, prevent coral reef damage, and reduce marine plastic pollution. By working closely with local governments and NGOs, Coast 4C ensures that its initiatives benefit both the environment and the communities involved. The organization's efforts have already led to the protection of thousands of hectares of ocean and the support of numerous households, demonstrating the positive impact of regenerative seaweed farming on both people and the planet.
