E-Waste CSR Initiatives

Casio India Co. Pvt. Ltd. has launched 'Recycle Responsibly,' a CSR initiative addressing the growing e-waste crisis in Delhi NCR. Covering Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Greater Noida, the campaign promotes awareness and provides accessible recycling solutions.

As India ranks third globally in e-waste generation, with over 3.2 million metric tonnes produced annually, much of it is improperly processed, posing environmental and health risks. Casio India’s initiative aims to drive responsible disposal practices, offering sustainable, safe alternatives to reduce the impact of informal e-waste handling.

"As a responsible corporate citizen, we believe in contributing to environmental sustainability. E-waste is a rising concern, and our campaign aims to educate, engage, and empower communities to act. Through this initiative, we're not just collecting old electronics -- we're fostering behavioral change," said Akira Watanabe, the Director Casio India.
