Wipro Infotech, the IT business unit of Wipro Ltd. operating in India, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific regions, announced the launch of its new eco-friendly desktop and laptop range. The newly unveiled product line, Wipro GreenWare, includes desktops and laptops designed to comply with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive.

The RoHS directive is a critical European Union standard that curbs the use of specific hazardous materials commonly found in electronic products. By adhering to these stringent guidelines, Wipro GreenWare significantly reduces the environmental impact associated with e-waste.

Wipro's new and functional products minimize the presence of harmful substances such as lead, mercury, and cadmium and contribute to reducing electronic waste, a growing global concern.
