Environmentally-Friendly Product Lines

Amazon has launched a new online collection of products named 'Amazon Aware.' Products found in the Amazon Aware line are individually certified based on the type of product. For example, clothing products are certified to contain recycled materials. Other types of certifications include "free of harmful chemicals," "socially responsible working conditions," or "low climate impact." Amazon Aware is part of the company's commitment to reducing its ecological footprint.

Amazon Aware marks a large leap for the company towards achieving its goal of contributing net-zero carbon emissions by 2040. Should the products under the Amazon Aware label become more popular than the competing products, the business's environmental impact will be reduced significantly. In addition to the products themselves, the packages that Amazon Aware products are shipped in are fully recyclable, and in many cases made from post-consumer recycled cardboard.
