Metro Brands Unveils a New Eco-Friendly Campaign

Metro Brands Limited is launching a new campaign that aims to promote footwear recycling and expose consumers to the reality of what happens to discarded shoes. The commercial spotlights Kiaan, a young boy whose beloved shoes have carried him through victories on the soccer field and precious family moments. When his shoes wear out, he chooses to recycle them through Metro Brands, transforming a simple decision into a meaningful act of sustainability.

The campaign hopes to encourage consumers to responsibly dispose of their footwear to prevent it from ending up in landfills, oceans, or the environment.

“[...] Through our eco-friendly processing of old, discarded footwear (ODF) project, we are taking meaningful steps to address environmental challenges while inspiring our customers to join us on this journey. By the end of this FY 24-25, we wish to achieve the goal of ‘1 Shoe Processed for 1 Shoe Sold.'
