With supermarkets such as Whole Foods now offering less-than-perfect produce, consumers are becoming more comfortable with buying ugly fruits and vegetables. This service make it easier to enjoy unsightly produce by delivering it directly to your door.
Wonky Vegetables is a delivery service that aims to "normalise the purchase and consumption of Wonky vegetables." Those who sign up for the service will receive weekly vegetable deliveries of seasonal and essential produce. The vegetables delivered are those that were rejected by traditional supermarkets due to their size or appearance. Because the vegetables are not supermarket-quality, they cost far less to purchase.
