FeedBack is marketed as a platform that "lets you order food for less while reducing food waste by helping [its] vendors divert any excess." The process is simple—as a user, you can browse through time-specific promotions from some of Toronto's most popular restaurants and order directly through the application; next, you simply head over to the restaurant during the designated pickup window, present your receipt, and enjoy.

In addition, the FeedBack app has also partnered with a number of organizations, like Second Harvest Food Rescue, to help them "combat food insecurity, divert excess food and give back to local communities."
