foodora is known for its ethical, bicycle-based sustainable food delivery approach. For Earth Day this year, the company is implementing a new three-tier action plan that will definitely maintain their seniority in the fight for sustainability. foodora focuses on waste reduction, food transparency, and recyclable packaging in its efforts to reshape how Toronto perceives sustainable food delivery services.

The new action plan will include a cutlery opt-in/opt-out program with which foodora aims to reduce the use of plastic utensils by 30%. A second change will promote food transparency by listing the ingredients and highlighting locally and ethically sourced produce. Finally, as part of its new plan for sustainable food delivery, foodora will encourage recyclable packaging with innovative biodegradable materials such as crystallized polylactic acid.
