Zero Grocery is a start-up that delivers food in glass jars that are meant to be returned so that they can once again be reused to cut down on packaging waste. With the service, it's possible to purchase everything from yogurt and milk to greens and potato chips without excess packaging. Items that need to be chilled are left with the appropriate amount of ice packs, which can also be returned when it's time for the next order to be dropped off.
Conscious consumers and brands alike realize that there isn't a need for so much packaging but there aren't services and systems in place to support the trade-off of reusable containers. Zero Grocery helps to address this by updating the old milk delivery model for today.
