The Or Foundation has launched an exclusive upcycled clothing collection in partnership with Vestiaire Collective, spotlighting the artistry of Ghanaian designers while raising awareness about fashion waste. Sourced from Accra’s Kantamanto Market -- one of the world’s largest secondhand clothing hubs -- the collection transforms discarded garments into one-of-a-kind, high-fashion pieces.

Featuring creations from designers like Dinnani, known for vibrant crocheted hobo bags, and 1304 Thrift Street, celebrated for its varsity jackets reimagined with patchwork and hand-painted art, the capsule is a testament to the ingenuity of upcycling. Proceeds from the sale will support the designers and The Or Foundation’s Secondhand Solidarity Fund, which aids local tailors and upcyclers.

This Black Friday initiative challenges consumers to rethink fast fashion’s impact and embrace circular design. Available on Vestiaire Collective, these upcycled pieces redefine sustainable style and inspire mindful shopping.
