New York-based streetwear label Noah has announced the launch of a new sustainable fashion initiative called 'NOT DEAD YET!,' an upcycling project the sees the brand restore its unsold items with new graphics, using black dyes from the Kyoto Montsuki Company.

Rather than marking down the price of these previously unsold items, Noah has decided to dye and redesign them in order to prevent excessive production. The new project includes a unique capsule collection consisting of jet-black t-shirts, hoodies, and straight-leg chinos dressed with patchwork and needle and thread graphics. In addition, all the pieces don 'NOT DEAD YET!' text.

To ensure that the upcycled clothing was of high quality, Noah partnered with Kyoto Montsuki, a specialty Japanese dye shop that has been producing black dye for formal wear for over a century.
