Lorenz Upcycles Old Clothes & Linens in the Recraft Studio Series
Amy Duong — September 29, 2021References: hypebeast
London fashion label lorenz introduces its new Recraft Studio collection for the Spring/Summer 2021 season with a sustainable mindset. The brand takes vintage table cloths, old bed linens, and crochet doilies to create special one-of-a-kind shirts.
The core of the capsule centers on sustainability as the brand describes itself to be a “global community in celebrating the more obscure things in life.” The ongoing capsule of shirts is made using surplus vintage fabric materials that are then intricately detailed. The shirts are adorned in motifs that have been stitched on by hand and showcase patterns that give off a bold look. The unique shirts are all special to their own due to the intricate and sustainable production process.
