By taking tote bags to the grocery store and visiting coffee shops with reusable cups, many people are making a great effort to reduce the amount of single-use waste that they contribute to the world—and ARK Reusables is helping sustainably minded consumers tackle the issue of takeout containers next. ARK Reusables just launched a campaign on Kickstarter for a set of colorful, reusable dishes for takeout dining experiences.

The collapsible containers were developed to make it easy for both eco-friendly consumers, restaurant owners and other professionals in the food industry to reduce the amount of disposable packaging that goes in the trash. Unlike most food packaging, which is made from plastic, these durable and spill-proof containers are made from silicone. The designs also set themselves apart with features that differentiate from meal prep containers, as they contain vents to accommodate freshly served hot food.
