Disposable dishes are notoriously bad for the environment, so Leaf Republic has created these leaf plates in order to help decrease the number of plates being sent to the landfill.
Started by founders who wanted to help decrease waste and find a better way to use resources, Leaf Republic is currently funding on Kickstarter to get the leaf plates to market.
The plates from Leaf Republic are the result of intensive research capabilities when it comes to pressing and the creation of molds. The final product is plate that are capable of being used for eating a meal without making a mess (they're waterproof) yet that will go back to nature in just 28 days thanks to the natural composition of the products.
