Do Eat's Sustainable Food Serving Verrines Leave Zero Waste
Laura McQuarrie — September 26, 2014With its 100% biodegradable edible verrines made from water and potato starch, Do Eat approaches sustainable food serving in a way that makes sure no waste is left behind. The small containers come in a variety of different shapes that are designed to support bite-sized snacks perfectly.
The small, durable dishes were developed by a pair of Belgian students who sought a way to make dishes disappear after use. Like magic, rather than having to wash dishes or deal with taking out the trash after a gathering, these dishes make the need to clean up virtually non-existent. When it comes to taste, Do Eat describes that its edible containers have a neutral flavor, which making them ideal for pairing with any dish, whether it's sweet, sour, spicy, savory, cold or hot.
