A&W Canada is the first major quick-service restaurant to introduce the Zero Cup by ButterflyCup and it's a completely paper cup with a water-based lining that needs no straw or lid. The fully compostable and recyclable takeaway cup Susan Senecal, President & CEO of A&W Canada says, "Our new Zero Cup is an exciting step in our journey to reach zero waste." This cup was introduced to participating restaurants from the chain as of March 14th and it will help to reduce the reliance on single-use cups with plastic liners that often end up at landfills.

The shapely cup is being previewed at Toronto's Evergreen Brickworks. Tomorrow Cafe and attendees will get to experience the sustainable takeaway innovation with free, fair trade coffee.
