The Sharjah Design Centre (SDC) has emerged as a transformative force for creative innovation and sustainable production. Established by Emiri Decree and located within the Sharjah Creative Quarter, SDC offers advanced facilities such as Glass, Ceramic, Textile, Prototyping, Wood, Metal, and Jewellery Labs. These resources empower professionals, artisans, and innovators to experiment, prototype, and produce environmentally sustainable designs and ethical creations.

SDC bridges creative talent and industrial capability, fostering collaboration between diverse sectors and enhancing overall design quality. The Centre's building, designed by Mexico City's award-winning Taller de Arquitectura – Mauricio Rocha, in collaboration with Daniel Rosselló, reflects Sharjah's ethos of innovation and sustainability. By acting as a hub for creative exchange, SDC advances global design excellence, inspires community engagement, and nurtures a sustainable and inclusive creative ecosystem within the emirate.
