Enchanting Eco-Friendly Lighting Experiences

Philips MyCreation has developed a sustainable lighting set for SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, specifically for the underwater dining experience at the Cenote Café. The design challenge was to create lighting that would not disrupt the marine life or the unique ambiance of the underwater setting. Philips MyCreation utilized 3D printing technology to produce custom luminaires that direct light exclusively onto dining tables, minimizing light spillage into the aquarium. These fixtures are designed to reduce reflections on acrylic windows, enhancing the dining experience while being sensitive to the light needs of the aquatic inhabitants.

The lighting set features a range of customizable options, including different colors, transparency levels, and textures, all crafted from recyclable materials. This approach aligns with SeaWorld Abu Dhabi's commitment to sustainability and circularity. By leveraging on-demand printing, Philips MyCreation was able to deliver the order within a short timeframe, ensuring a prompt and efficient installation process.
