Colin Smith — November 9, 2024The LEGO Group has initiated the construction of a new 50,000-square-meter Innovation Campus at its global headquarters in Billund, Denmark. This campus is designed to foster creativity and sustainability in product design and development. The facility will house 1,700 employees, including over 600 designers, in a collaborative space focused on product development, digital experiences, and marketing. This modular structure reflects LEGO's commitment to creativity, inclusivity, and the free flow of ideas.
Scheduled to open in 2027, the Innovation Campus represents a significant investment in LEGO's Danish headquarters and underscores the company's dedication to innovative and sustainable workspaces. The campus aims to bring LEGO's design and development under one roof, supporting a seamless creative process and furthering the company's mission to innovate in every aspect of the LEGO experience. This new facility is part of LEGO's broader commitment to reducing carbon emissions and promoting a sustainable future.
