Created by architect Juan Blazquez and located in Malaga, Spain, this sustainable building design will set the precedent for future environmentally friendly architecture in Spain.

The sustainable building design features several unique components in its construction. Most visible, two of the outer walls of this building are covered in vegetation, allowing the otherwise modern-looking building to fit in better with its surrounding environment. The building also utilizes efficient lighting and air conditioning, solar energy for heating, is made from recycled and recyclable materials and uses rainwater to reduce the consumption and waste of water.

The elevated building was constructed as a prototype for the 'Zero Energy Buildings' plan that will soon be mandatory for public administration offices in Malaga, making it the first of its kind to model for future architecture initiatives in Spain.
