High Acceleration E-Bikes

The Segway Xyber is a high-performance e-bike, introduced at CES 2025, known for its powerful acceleration and rugged design. Equipped with Segway's 6,000-watt direct-drive motor, it can achieve speeds from 0 to 20 mph in 2.7 seconds, making it one of the most powerful e-bikes available. It features a dual-battery system with a total capacity of 2,880 Wh, providing a range of up to 112 miles. The Xyber's design includes 20 x 5.0-inch tires, hydraulic suspension with 110mm front and 100mm rear travel, and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes. Despite its advanced capabilities, the initial version of the Xyber is not street-legal. Segway is planning to release a road-legal model conforming to Class-2 e-bike requirements by late spring 2025.

Additionally, the Segway Xyber incorporates numerous smart features through Segway's Intelligent Ride System. These features include a high-resolution 2.4-inch smart TFT display, environmental light sensors, Apple Find My support, dual-component GPS tracking, and AirLock keyless locking. The e-bike also offers multiple throttle modes, including Eco, Sport, and Race, and integrates a gradient algorithm and internal gyroscope for adaptive pedal assistance. The estimated retail price for the Segway Xyber is $2,999.99, with pre-orders currently open. This combination of speed, range, and smart technology makes the Xyber a notable option in the high-end e-bike market.
