The Smol Electric Motorcycle is a compact and innovative offering from the French startup J2R Dynamics, designed to cater to urban mobility. It features an engine integrated into the rear wheel and removable batteries, which align with the current environmental challenges. The motorcycle is equipped with an 8 kW motor that can reach speeds of up to 110 km/h. With a standard 4 kWh battery composed of NMC cells, the Smol offers a range of up to 90 km on a single charge, which can be extended to 150 km with an additional energy unit. The motorcycle is assembled in France using mainly European materials, ensuring local design and ease of handling, with each removable battery weighing approximately 17 kg.

J2R Dynamics has announced that the Smol will be launched in a limited series. An exhibition of the prototype is scheduled for the Albi Eco Race, followed by the commencement of pre-sales for the first batch of 50 units. These units are priced from €9,450, with deliveries estimated for May 2025. Prospective buyers can reserve a unit with a deposit of €500.
