French Bike Conversion Kits

Virvolt, a French bicycle electrification company, announced the 'Virvolt 900' e-bike conversion kit. This is a lightweight conversion kit developed in collaboration with Renault. This conversion kit features a power output of up to 250W, a torque of 80 Nm, and a weight of only 3kg if only the motor is desired. However, the kit is also available with additional accessories which bring the weight up to 4.8kg and 6kg respectively.

Virvolt notes that one of its focuses with the Virvolt 900 is extending product life cycles and reducing waste downstream. As a result, the conversion kit was designed to be repairable, durable, and affordable for consumers, meaning consumers can save time and money, which can then be invested in other aspects of the bicycle, if desired.
