Automatic Gear-Shifting Systems

The G500A is a five-speed automatic gear hub developed by Bafang, designed specifically for high-powered fat-tire e-bikes. This system, part of Bafang's Gear Variable Transmission (GVT) technology, allows for smooth and automatic gear changes, adapting to the bike's speed. The G500A can handle torque ratings of up to 200 Nm and supports speeds ranging from 45 km/h to 60 km/h. It is designed to tackle challenging terrains such as snow and sand, making it suitable for a variety of riding conditions.

Bafang's GVT technology aims to simplify the use of e-bikes by reducing common maintenance issues associated with traditional gear systems. The G500A hub is belt-drive friendly and offers a high degree of integration, allowing for greater design possibilities. Each gear in the G500A has undergone rigorous testing, including 10,000 impact tests, to ensure durability and reliability.
